NSIT-IFSCS to Host IEEE-Backed National STTP on AI Sentinel

Narnarayan Institute of Technology-Institute of Forensic Science and Cyber Security, Jetalpur, Ahmedabad, is set to host a GUJCOST-sponsored National Level One-Week Hybrid Short Term Training Programme (STTP) titled “AI Sentinel: Pioneering Cyber Security and Digital Investigation” from 10th to 14th February 2026. The programme marks a significant milestone by receiving Technical Partner from the IEEE Gujarat Section, adding prestigious international recognition.
For the successful organization of this programme, a committee has been constituted under the guidance of Shastri Swami Atmaprakash and Shastri Swami Purushottam Prakashdas. The Chief Patron is Dharmesh Vandra, Vice Chairman of the Institute Management Committee. The Patrons are Principal Prof. (Dr.) Shailesh Iyer and Campus Director Sanjay Sharma. The programme is being coordinated by Convener Dr. Nikunj Thahileramani, Senior Faculty Member, with Organizing Secretary Assistant Professor Vinay Aseri and Coordinator Assistant Professor Dr. Akash Thakkar. The organizing committee members include Dr. Vishali Sharma, Dr. Kalpesh Solanki, Dr. Sachin Dev, Ms. Khushbu Gautam, Anant Kumar Patil, and Ms. Meenal Shah.
In a major development, the STTP has also secured an international collaboration with SOEBIT Cybersecurity, The Netherlands (Europe), giving the programme a global academic and industry dimension. This collaboration enables participants to gain exposure to international best practices and emerging trends in AI-driven cybersecurity and digital forensics.
Notably, the programme is being organized under the banner of the IEEE Student Branch, NSIT-IFSCS, making it the first-ever event conducted by the newly established IEEE Student Branch at the institute. This achievement reflects NSIT’s growing commitment to innovation, professional excellence, and global academic engagement.
The five-day intensive STTP will cover advanced and emerging areas such as Foundations of AI in Cybersecurity and Forensics, AI-Assisted Digital Forensics, AI Tools for Law Enforcement, AI in Crime Investigation and Legal Aspects, and Future Challenges and Directions in cyber defense.
The programme will be conducted in hybrid mode, with offline sessions at the NSIT Campus, Jetalpur, and online live interactive sessions with recorded access, enabling participation from across India. Gujarat-based participants are encouraged to attend offline sessions to benefit from hands-on learning, expert interaction, networking opportunities, and participant kits, while online participation offers flexibility for attendees from other states.
The STTP is designed for senior undergraduate and postgraduate students, research scholars, faculty members, industry professionals, innovators, and entrepreneurs seeking advanced knowledge and globally recognized credentials in cybersecurity and digital investigation.
With strong endorsements from IEEE and a reputed European cybersecurity organization, the programme promises to deliver high-impact learning and professional value, positioning NSIT as a rising hub for cutting-edge research and skill development in cybersecurity.
